Trading ASTER with leverage on Binance means using a Futures contract to gain exposure to price movements. You can open a long or short position, but leverage magnifies losses as well as gains.

This guide explains ASTERUSDT perpetual trading, margin, order types, fees and position management.

How to Trade Aster (ASTER) With Leverage on Binance: Beginner Guide

TL;DR: How to Trade ASTER With Leverage

If Binance Futures is available to your account, complete verification and activation, transfer collateral to your Futures Wallet and select ASTERUSDT in USDⓈ-M Futures.

Choose your margin mode, leverage, position size and order type. Review the estimated liquidation price, submit your order and configure your exit orders.

Futures trading does not purchase withdrawable ASTER tokens.

Binance Referral Codes for Eligible Futures Benefits

Create your Binance account with CRYPTOFEE20:

Futures alternative code FUTURESFEE20:

My other codes include 19800BONUS20 for checking welcome campaigns and BESTCODEMAX2 for eligible Spot benefits.

Eligible users may receive 20% Spot and Futures commission rebates where Binance confirms them. Welcome packages worth up to $19,800 depend on qualifying tasks.

Use one applicable code, verify the displayed benefits and review account, product and regional restrictions. Codes cannot be combined to multiply rewards.

Activate Futures and Fund Your Wallet

Complete KYC, secure your account with two-factor authentication or a supported passkey, and follow the Futures activation requirements displayed.

Transfer supported collateral, such as USDT, from Spot to USDⓈ-M Futures. An internal transfer does not open a position.

Search for ASTERUSDT and confirm that you selected the perpetual contract. Check the live contract specifications because leverage limits and margin requirements can change.

Understand Long and Short Positions

A long position benefits when the contract price rises and loses when it falls. A short position benefits when the price falls and loses when it rises, before fees and funding.

In One-way Mode, Buy/Long can open or increase a long position; Sell/Short can open or increase a short. Opposite orders may reduce an existing position.

Hedge Mode handles long and short positions separately. Check your position mode before trading.

Choose Isolated or Cross Margin

Isolated Margin allocates collateral to a particular position. Adding margin or enabling automatic margin replenishment increases the collateral exposed.

Cross Margin shares eligible collateral across positions within the applicable account setup. Losses on one position can affect the collateral supporting others.

Choose deliberately before opening the trade. Isolated Margin does not prevent liquidation.

How Leverage Changes Your Exposure

For illustration, $100 of initial margin at 5x leverage supports approximately $500 of exposure, before fees and other requirements.

If ASTER moves 2% in your favor, gross profit is approximately $10. A 2% adverse move produces approximately a $10 loss.

Changing the leverage setting alone does not multiply profit on an unchanged position size. Profit and loss depend on quantity and price movement.

Check Binance’s liquidation estimate rather than treating “1 divided by leverage” as an exact liquidation threshold.

Place Your ASTER Futures Order

  1. Open USDⓈ-M Futures and select ASTERUSDT.

  2. Confirm your position and margin modes.

  3. Set leverage and position size.

  4. Choose Market or Limit.

  5. Review direction, margin and liquidation estimate.

  6. Submit and check whether the order filled.

A market order executes against available liquidity. A limit order sets your price but may remain unfilled.

Review the estimated exposure carefully: margin and position value are different amounts.

Configure Stop-Loss and Take-Profit Orders

After entry, configure an exit plan using the available TP/SL or conditional orders. Review the trigger price, trigger reference, quantity and closing direction.

A Stop-Market order submits a market order after its conditions trigger. Slippage can occur.

A Stop-Limit order may remain unfilled during a rapid move.

Use Reduce-Only where supported, or the appropriate closing controls for your position mode, to avoid unintentionally opening another position.

Stops do not guarantee a maximum loss or prevent every liquidation.

Trading Fees, Funding and Cashback

Trading fees generally apply to executed notional value, rather than just your margin.

Funding payments are separate and may be paid or received when you hold a perpetual position at settlement. Check the current funding rate and countdown before entering a trade.

Assume an illustrative $1,000 entry and $1,000 exit, both charged at 0.05%:

Confirmed 20% cashback

$0.40 net

$0.80 net

This excludes funding, slippage and other charges. Cashback may arrive separately from the original fee deduction.

Eligible BNB fee payment may provide additional savings. Confirm the applicable terms before assuming discounts combine.

Monitor and Close Your Position

Watch Mark Price, margin and estimated liquidation price. Binance uses Mark Price in its liquidation calculations.

Close through the position controls, confirm the remaining quantity and review outstanding exit orders. Cancel any orders that no longer belong to your trading plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need ASTER tokens to trade ASTERUSDT Futures?

No. The contract uses supported collateral, subject to your account settings.

Can I lose all the allocated margin?

Yes. Liquidation can consume the collateral supporting a position. Cross Margin may expose additional shared collateral.

Can existing users check CRYPTOFEE20?

Eligible accounts originally registered without an inviter may check Binance referral rebinding using CRYPTOFEE20:

Follow the eligibility conditions and benefits displayed in your account.

Does a 20% commission rebate cover funding payments?

Do not assume it does. Referral cashback applies to qualifying trading commissions under the applicable terms. Funding is a separate payment.

Is higher leverage always better?

No. For a given margin amount, higher leverage allows greater exposure and can make small adverse price movements more damaging.
